What make's lemon oil great for cleaning?
Besides the fact that it smells AHHHMAZING, lemon essential oil is high in d-limonene content, combined with pinene, it makes is a strong agent for reducing the presence of microbes.
Enjoy this recipe for cleaning kitchens and bathrooms- removing soap scum and build up never smelled so good (or was so cheap and easy).
Recipe:
1 c baking soda
3 tbsp Castile Soap
1 tbsp Distilled white vinegar
10 drops White Pine Oil
10 drops Peppermint Oil
10 drops Lemon Oil
Mix Ingredients and store in a jar. Add more vinegar or soap as needed to make the smooth consistency you desire.
This is less than 1% dilution, but gloves are suggested when using this product.
This recipe is safe for use around kids.
If used on surfaces pets have access to, wipe down the surface after cleaning.
Shelf life: 6 months. If it begins to dry out, add a bit more Castile soap or vinegar.
